I couldn’t believe my eyes when I was reading about the fight between Ray J and Fabolous. Are you kidding me? I thought I was going to be reading about Victor Ortiz vs Floyd Mayweather and I find that Mayweather is watching a fight between Ray J and Fabolous. By the way Congratulations to Floyd Mayweather my birthday sake, for his 4th round KO win! For those who counted him out, Floyd Mayweather has set you straight!
Apparently Fab had been tweeting about Ray J and Ray J was pissed. The tweet was as follows: “Nah but Floyd saying we havin a concert in my living room & the camera cuts to Ray J singing “One Wish” on the piano had me in tears!!” Fabolous tweeted on Sept. 17th, allegedly the center of Ray J’s beef. “Get it..? Ray J concert in the living room!! *Lil Wayne voice*” I like Fab, but he probably should not have done this. Obviously him and Ray J were not even good enough friends for this to be a joke.
Some say Ray J punched Fab in the face on contact and others say Fab beat up Ray J, inquiring minds really want to know! Ray J went on the Breakfast club, Power 105.1 FM and did an exclusive and said you can call Fabolous right now and ask him to send a picture of his face. Ray J was kicked out of the Palms Hotel and arrested and Fabolous went on to perform at the Palms.
I’m not sure who won or who loss, but this certainly is no way to handle a beef. Ray J could have called Fab or Fab simply should have never did the tweet. It is ridiculous when you jeopardize your images and your hard work over twitter. A defense to compare what material things you have and what another person doesn’t have is not cool. Ray J is so much better than that I adore him and his family. We are used to Ray J the good son and brother, involved with his family and always on his grind to make money. This type of publicity is not good. Ray J has absolutely nothing to prove, his history speaks for itself, so being known as a bruiser is not cute.
I really hope they can squash this and go on with their careers in which both artist are doing fine. You produce more records with a positive image than a negative image. It’s hard to come back from negative images. Don’t mess your income up for something so little.
I haven’t heard Fabolous’ side of the story, but I’m sure it’s coming. I would love to have his side up as well. I respect him just as much as an artist too.
Here is Ray J’s interview.
