Chef Roble & Co turns it up a notch doing a “Classic American Barbecue” at the home of “A” lister Actress/Singer, Vanessa Williams. Vanessa was celebrating her daughter Jillian graduating from college and her son Devin graduating from High School. Her amazing home whispered tranquillity. Unfortunately Mother Nature yelled rain, but Jasmine immediately went into game mode and before they could even think about what the rain would do to the event, Jasmine had the function inside!
The budget was $9,500 and on the Menu:
- Grilled Asparagus (Lemon Scented)
- Grilled Corn
- Barbecue Baked Beans
- Mac N’ Cheese
- Spiced Lamb Sliders (Cucumber, Yogurt, Mint)
- Prawn Skewers
- Organic Chicken
- Flank Steak
- Berkshire Baby Back Ribs (Barbecue Glaze, Micro Celery)
- Potato Salad (Roble Mother’s recipe)
- Blue Corn Muffins
- Dessert: Sweet Potato Pecan Pie (Dusted with Confectioner’s Sugar)
While your mouths continue to water, I’ll continue with the blog! Although it is very clear that Che Gravy loves his wife, it was cute to see him meet his childhood crush “Vanessa Williams” as he accepted his accolades of being the “Sauce Boss”. Adam even revealed that Vanessa Williams’ 1997 hit “Save The Best For Last” was his third favorite song. The upside to that was, Adam was at least knowledgeable of Vanessa Williams.
Jasmine certainly held her own with this event! Vanessa and her children were very happy with the outcome of this Classic American Barbecue. A big “hats off” to Roble’ because he may get on Jasmine for the disappointments, but he also shows the love and appreciation, when she is on top of her game!
I am so hooked on this show! It is so refreshing to watch an entertaining and knowledgeable Realty Show that doesn’t have drama. If you don’t watch the show I encourage to you to do so, because I guarantee it will become one of your favorites as it has mine. You can catch Chef Roble & Co every Sunday, on Bravo at 10pm Eastern Time.
CR&C Dictionary (Word of the Day): Un-Messupable used in a sentence by Chef Roble’ referring to Jasmine and the success possibilities of Vanessa Williams event. “It’s a cookout it’s un-messupable”.
Don’t forget to check out the first event of this episode: Chef Roble’ & Co. – All That Glitters Is Not Gold But It Can Shine! The client was Kerin Rose.
I’m SMarchel and Blog on it! It’s my Opinion!
