Chef Roble’ and Co. – Delivers Medieval Madness!

Episode aired:  1/1/2012

The 2nd part of the episode was a doozie!  Chef Roble’ was summoned to recording artist, Sir Ivan’s Castle, in Southampton, Long Island for a Medieval Feast.  He was picked up in a limo for the consultation. How cool is that?  The event was for Sir Ivan’s soul mate Mina/Dragon Goddess. Sir Ivan wanted the event to include Kings, Queens and Courtiers.  The feast was also to include items similar to rabbit, pheasants, and a boar.  Thematically he wanted a variety of  menacing trolls, to assist in the Medieval Madness.  Sir Ivan is notorious for being “The Party King of the World”, and for this event he was adamant about not losing his title and ordered Roble’ not to screw it up!

The Budget was $40k for approximately 150 guest. On the Buffet Style menu:

  • Whole Roasted Hog (Grapes, Thyme, Apples, Plums)
  • Ale Battered Cod (Capers, Gherkins, Seaweed)
  • Wild Game Sausage ( Wild Venison, Wild Duck)
  • Yukon Gold Potatoes (with Smoked European Maldon Sea Salt Mint)
  • Wood Fired Vegetables (Squash, Zucchini, Leaks)
  • Dessert:  Rustic Fig & Almond Pie

Jasmine gathered her team of servers together and she even got William (Mixologist) back!  Inquiring minds want to know Ms. Jazz?( *wink!)  The team did their thing with the theme, because it was amazing.  This event was truly over-the-top, but the theme was certainly on point! Some of the highlights were the trolls, Artie was a Sourcerer, Shawn was a Monk, even Dina Lohan was on hand as a Goddess.  There were Fire Breathers, I mean you name it, and it was there. Sir Ivan even had Dragon Goddess (Mina) immortalized with a statue!

I must say, this was probably one of the biggest and most unique events that Chef Roble’ and Co. have tackled.  Sir Ivan and Mina/Dragon Goddess can rest easy because after this event he should still be known as “The Party King of the World”!  Most importantly, Jasmine was on-point with the theme and Chef Roble’ and Co. did an awesome job with the Medieval Feast!
