Chef Roble’ and Co. – Doing it Doggy Style!

Episode Aired:  01/1/2012

The beautiful Momma Roble'

Jasmine's handsome son Anton

The episode started with Roble’ and Jasmine getting a visit from their beautiful mom, Jasmine’s son Anton who came up from Atlanta, Georgia and Ayan (Chef Roble’s Girlfriend).

Quickly back to work and Chef Roble’ got yet another unusual request, and what makes it so unusual is that the event was for dogs!  Yes, Chef Roble’ and Co. was “Doing it Doggy Style” with a Dog Wedding Event.

Lauren Ezersky-Schultz (Fashion Journalist) requested Chef Roble’ and Co. to cater a Dog Wedding for her… in her words “Best Friends”, Harpo Julius Ezersky-Shultz (The Groom) and Carmen Lopez Ezersky-Schultz (The Bride) who are both Chihuahuas.  The wedding was held at one of Luaren’s friends estate in Southampton Long Island.  It was three course meals for the humans as well as the dogs with a $25k budget and approximately 15 dogs and 30 people.

Jazz had her hands full, because one of the big request was for her to find a service that would be on-hand at the party to pick up poop.  Also, Chef Roble’ had to pull out his bag of tricks to make sure the Dog Food was safe and edible for the dogs.  It was a very tall order, but you know there is no request that Chef Roble’ and Co. will turn down.

On the Menu:

  • DOGGIE MENU
  • Appetizer:  Hudson Valley Duck Meatballs (Duck Breast, Carrots)
  • Entree:  Prime Steak Flank and Eggs (Grass Fed Beef, Watercress)
  • Dessert:  Peanute Butter Wedding Cake and Ice Cream
  • HUMAN MENU
  • Appetizer:  Seasonal Summer Salad (Baby Arugula, Sea Beans, Corn with Gingery Lime Carrot Broth)
  • Entree:  Pan Seared Red Snapper (Chanterelle-Fava Bean Succotash)
  • Dessert:  Bean Cherry Ice-Cream and Cake

Che’ Gravy was not in attendance because he was celebrating the birth of his baby boy…congrats! (Chef Roble’ and Co. – Congratulations to Che’ Gravy)  Unfortunately, Kiku sprained her ankle (Drunk Bowling) and was not able to work either.  Therefore, with Rob (Chef/Friend) as Che’s temporary replacement and the rest of the crew, the show had to go on!

Dog Cake on Lean!

The wedding was a success, even after they had to save the Doggie Cake that started leaning due to the hot weather. The dogs were very happy, the humans were happy and so was Jasmine because she was even able to get Dog Concierges to pick up the poop.  I must say this was a first for me to witness a Dog Wedding, the dogs even had on wedding dress and tuxedo, but because I love my dog “Onyx” so much, I guess I understand, uumm maybe.  However, in Lauren Ezersky-Schultz’s words to Chef Roble’ “You outdid yourself!”

Don’t forget to check out the second event of this episode: Chef Roble’ and Co. – Delivers Medieval Madness!

Carmen Lopez & Harpo Julius Ezersky-Schultz

I’m SMarchel and Blog on it!  It’s my Opinion!
