After earning silver in the 200 meters in 2004 and 2008 Olympics, while Allyson never took her eye off of winning Gold. She did just that at the London Games in 21.88 seconds rising above the two-time defending Olympic champion Veronica Campbell-Brown of Jamaica, who took fourth to Allyson in the London games.
Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, the two time Olympic 100-meter champion, took silver in the 200 in 22.09 and Carmelita Jeter, won bronze in the 200 in 22.14.
Congrats to all the ladies and props to Sanya Richards-Ross, in her first time 200 meter Olympic performance, who finished in fifth place with a time of 22.39.
