R&B Divas on TV One is a “Real Grown Women” Show

08/21/2012

Bravo to Faith Evans for her amazing idea of bringing five Divas that were the baddest women in the business, together for a reality show.  I watched Basketball Wives, I’ve even watched Bad Girls Club, oh and don’t forget I’ve watch the Hollywood Exes.  However, when I was watching R&B Divas,  starring Faith Evans, Monifah, Keke Wyatt, Nicci Gilbert and Syleena Johnson all I could say is “I finally see some women like me!”  Not all of them but most, middle aged, packing a little weight (but carrying it well), some married, some not, but still BEAUTIFUL and still finding their paths in life.”  I can relate to this group of women.  I’m very excited about this season and I am glad that not one time did it seem ratchet.  The women are classy, headstrong, but above all something that I have never really gotten from other reality shows as a whole, the women are REAL! By the way… they still can SANG (not sing) SANG like nobody’s business.   If you missed it, you certainly missed a treat, therefore, you have to tune in Mondays at 10pm on TV One. (A Must Have:   Lovin’ Me (Theme from “R&B Divas”) [feat. Nicci Gilbert, Monifah, Syleena Johnson & Keke Wyatt] – Single)

I’m SMarchel and Blog on it!  It’s my Opinion!

apologies for having the wrong network originally!

  1. This is great when you are getting pounded by a group.
When Lord Capulet enters he is first of all very sympathetic and understanding about
Juliet’s state, thinking that she is crying for Tybalt.
It is after the words of Achilles that glory is not worth an early death that Odysseus
is able to keep his pride in check.
